OPEN DAY WASH-OUT!!!
RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY FEBRUARY 21ST 2010
Due to the wet weather, our Open Day has now been rescheduled for Sunday 21st February.
If you used to play tennis and would love to get back into it or you've never played before but would love to learn or you're looking for something to get the kids or the whole family involved in, come along to our Free Open Day! There will be loads of activities for everyone, free coaching lessons, a sausage sizzle and much more! It's a great day for all and everyone is welcome!

NEW COACH AT DISCOVERY PARK TENNIS CLUB
Discovery Park Tennis Club welcomes Matt Dudley as the new Club Coach.
Feel free to pop into the club anytime to introduce yourself to Matt and have a look at the programmes he'll be conducting for the club. There are some great junior programes on offer as well as adult clinics and lots of social tennis. Matt will be only to happy to assist with all your enquiries.

WE'RE CLUB OF THE YEAR FOR 2009
DISCOVERY PARK TENNIS CLUB HAS BEEN VOTED TENNIS GOLD COAST CLUB OF THE YEAR FOR 2009
A great achievement for our club and now it's time for a bit of a boasting. Of all the tennis clubs on the Gold Coast we're obviously pretty damn good. We are one of the most active clubs on the coast offering a variety of events for members of all ages. Also, a big thank you must go to all our hardworking volunteers for the time and effort they put in to running the club. It's a great achievement and we all should be very proud!

Anyone wishing to play mixed social tennis on Monday or Thursday nights from 6:30pm is welcome to come along and join us. Cost is only $5 per player (members) or $7.00 (non-members)

Discovery Park Tennis Juniors get to play on Pat Rafter Arena!
We are extremely grateful to our generous sponsors, McDonald's Helensvale, for providing our club with this unique opportunity. Discovery Park Tennis Club is the first club from the Gold Coast to particpate in a tour of this kind. Thanks also to Michelle Rigby from McDonald's Helensvale for taking the time to join us at the centre for the day. The juniors were able to have a 'behind the scenes' look at this exciting new centre from the players gym to the $29,000- per-event corporate boxes. Playing on centre court was an experience we're sure they'll never forget!

WHERE IS DISCOVERY PARK TENNIS CLUB?
We're located in Discovery Park, Helensvale on the corner of Discovery Drive & Wolvi Place, just behind the skate park. We have six courts: four hardcourt and two synthetic grass courts. Four of our courts are floodlit for night tennis. We also have an award winning junior tennis programme which is arguably the best on the Gold Coast. There are all year round activities for everyone at Discovery Park Tennis Club.
